The End of Words

I like the kind of thinking that does not rely on words - thought that is untethered. Giving attention to sound (music) or a picture can help to loosen the mind's connection to words.

Words represent things, but they are not things. Are they things? There is a certain unreality created by words. So much happens because our experience is filtered by them.
Sometimes they can lead us into moments of profound insight, and other times into black holes like bureaucracies.
We can't seem to live without words. We really can't stop them. Not that I would want to. Maybe for one day, just one day, we could live without using words. An hour without words. No more words. Stop thinking in words!

How many words will you say or think in a lifetime? Words are embedded in the whole process of life.
